Although there is no record guaranteeing that the building belongs to Rodolfo Ucha, both the period and the style suggest that he was responsible for its design. It is one of the least known modernist buildings of the city, characterised by a façade in the style of a classical triumphal arch, whose central hollow is recessed with iron balconies together with Arabesque motifs in the art nouveau style.
The first-floor balcony stands behind the bay windows on either side and the high galleries end in rounded features, which reinforces the appearance of an arcade and brings a sense of grandeur and beauty that is unusual in a building of this size. It is also worth noting the presence of droplet-shape decorative mullions mutules that finish off the cornices of the galleries.
